Baseball Lacelet Love + Giveaway

*giveaway closed*

Happy WEEKEND! I know, it's been a quiet week (or two...) around this online space. Between a great big bunch of other wives and girlfriends coming to visit last weekend, my birthday, and a bunch of rain outs, it's been pretty busy in my neck of the woods. I'll share more details about all of that later on, but for now I have something really exciting to chat about!

It's no secret that I have a bracelet addiction. If you follow me on instagram you've seen my various bracelet posts ;) The rest of my jewelry collection is pretty minimal, but I drool for new bracelets. Cy likes to joke that I am going to run out of arm space, but I have no plans to stop curating my bracelet collection any time soon!

I particularly love finding pieces that are hand-made in the U.S. by small business owners. There is nothing cooler than having a unique piece that you know helped support an entrepreneur right here at home. But an even bigger bonus: when other baseball wives are jewelry designers and I can support them! From jewelry to clothing boutiques and anything in between, there's a baseball girl boss for that, and I *love* it.

One thing that I can't get enough of are Baseball Lacelets. Created and co-owned by sisters Hannah and Alexis (who is the wife of a Red Sox pitcher), lacelets are leather wrap bracelets made from genuine baseball glove lacing, personalized with absolutely anything your heart desires. They started selling lacelets on Etsy in 2014, and each letter was hand stamped on every piece. A year and one amazing Kickstarter campaign later, business has boomed so much that they now use a laser engraver to inscribe words on each lacelet, and have their own warehouse space.

I love that you can choose exactly what message you want to be reminded of each day as you wear it on your wrist, but they also have a couple pre-made quote options, as well as an inspiration list. I personally have 5, in addition to the multiple others that I have purchased as gifts. They are not only a perfect addition to your arm candy, but they make a great custom gift- especially for baseball lovers! Head on over to their website to check out all of the awesome product options they have!

So to wrap this thing up (get it.. because they're wrap bracelets? Cracking myself up over here) drum roll please... The lacelet girls have generously offered to give away a free lacelet to one of y'all- Just use the tool below to enter!

Have a great weekend, be safe, have fun, all that good stuff ;)

xo, Han

  1. I would get coordinates, simply because we watch baseball games here in NE! Also, its funny cause not a lot of people know I actually like baseball. Lol.

  7. Hi Hannah! My boyfriend, Brock, was drafted by the Brewers, also. He actually played with Cy on the Timber Rattlers for a while this year. He told me all about your blog and I started following immediately! I heard about Baseball Lacelets through your blog a few months ago. I would love to get the laces out of one of Brock's old gloves to send in and have engraved. Best of luck to you and Cy!
